Why plant new churches?
At Hope Church, we believe the mission of God is unstoppable - and that mission includes planting new churches to reach people with the love of Jesus. Our vision for church planting is to see vibrant communities of Jesus-followers established across our region and beyond, where people can experience God's love, grow in their faith and learn together what it means to live for Jesus today.
We are passionate about raising leaders, forming plant teams and establishing churches that reflect the heart of God for their local communities. Every new church plant is an outpost of the Kingdom of God.
A new church on Priors Hall
Beacon Church is a new church on the Priors Hall estate, led by Greg and Anthea Hayes. It grew out of an Alpha course at Esquires Coffee and officially launched in early 2026.
The church currently meets in a home on Wednesday evenings and is growing, with a large gazebo now providing the opportunity to meet outdoors. Café Church takes place monthly, and from September there will be two Café Church Saturdays and two Sunday gatherings in the home each month.
Beacon Church is already seeing people come to faith and be baptised, while actively serving the local community through events such as Carols at Esquires and a Christmas craft afternoon. Future plans include family events at the Community Centre and outdoor worship at the Priors Hall amphitheatre.
The church is committed to loving God, loving each other, and loving their community.
A new church in Barnsley
Richard & Klaudia, who previously served at Hope Church in Corby (Richard as Assistant Pastor and Klaudia as Administrator), felt a clear call to plant a church in Barnsley. In 2024, we sent them with our prayers and blessing to follow that vision. Since then, Inside Out Church has been growing as a vibrant community of faith, and Richard & Klaudia have built strong, supportive relationships with other churches across the area. Their heart for Barnsley is making a real difference, bringing hope and life to the local community.
Join the Church Planting Academy
At Hope Church we believe healthy churches don’t just happen - they’re raised up on purpose, through prayerful vision, gospel courage, and disciplined practice. That’s why we’ve partnered with the Church Planting Academy to equip and release the next generation of pioneers to plant church in our region and beyond.
